Declan is a member of the Institute of Acoustics and provides advise and consultancy in noise control and pollution. Many industries are regulated for noise control and noise nuisance is a growing area of public concern.

Having working in some of the most heavily regulated industries as well in research and development in acoustics Declan not only has first hand experience but is a recognised expert in acoustics, and noise compliance.

Declan was senior consultant and project manager for a national noise project to support the implementation of the EU noise directive in Ireland and has numerous papers published on the subject.
